Unofficial Finale PartyA bunch of the competitors got together last night at Son Nguyen's house outside Los Angeles for a "wrap" party. I'm not clear on why they weren't at the big "American Gladiators" wrap party (shown on YouTube here and here), but I'm digging in to it. (Click the photo for a larger version.)

I have another picture showing the ladies at right, a bunch of the male competitors and also Belinda Gavin, who's not in the photo at right. I'll add the link to that photo after I have a chance to resize it - it's too big to post right now and I'm using a laptop that doesn't have photo editing software.

Seriously - don't you wish you were there? Just look at those gorgeous girl jocks!

Don't count Shanay out!

Shanay NorvellGreat time for Shanay Norvell, who finished in 1:51. That's an amazing time and I'm excited for Shanay. I have to admit a bias, though, because Siene Silva was my favorite and I feel sad for her.

Best line of the series so far belongs to Siene, who remarked upon losing to Shanay that "I really coulda used the money. I really coulda used it." That's the funny thing about money, isn't it?

And one more thing - Siene Silva became the first woman to finish the hand bike portion of "Eliminator", and she really ought to wind up in the finals just for that.
